Murphy on the flip.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"font-weight: 800;\">Where, When and How was this mix recorded?<\/h5>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px !important;\">The mix was recorded few weeks ago on train between Paris and Bordeaux, south-west of France where i freshly moved to.\u00a0I simply used my laptop and Ableton Live.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"font-weight: 800;\">How would you relate it to us?<\/h5>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px !important;\">It&#8217;s a selection of tracks i&#8217;ve been listening to this summer lazying under the Italian sun or some others that i was just\u00a0feeling at the moment.\u00a0You&#8217;ll hear different styles of music such as French library music, Turkish Funk, Lo-Fi Hip Hop, Jazz, Psychedelic.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"font-weight: 800;\">What were your first experiences with music in general?<\/h5>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px !important;\">I fell in love with hip hop culture pretty early. One of the first hip hop record i heard was the legendary classic &#8220;IAM &#8211; L&#8217;Ecole du Micro D&#8217;Argent&#8221;\u00a0considered as one of the best french rap album ever by many people out there.\u00a0Then i quickly became fascinated by turntablism, scratching and all \u00a0that stuff, and bought my first turntables at 13.\u00a0Later during High School, i also met House music, especially the New York sound, and started buying and mixing records from Masters At Work or Kerri Chandler.\u00a0That became my second important love story with music.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/x4uHgwHdXOA\" width=\"640\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h5 style=\"font-weight: 800;\">What was the first record you bought?<\/h5>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px !important;\">I think it was Michael Jackson&#8217;s Dangerous<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/iQR8c7S67nA\" width=\"640\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h5 style=\"font-weight: 800;\">This set is all about an hour of a broad genre of music!,\u00a0any particular idea or theme in mind when you&#8217;ve been\u00a0doing\u00a0it?<\/h5>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px !important;\">I first wanted to give a &#8220;summer\/sunny&#8221; colour to that mix, maybe we can feel it in the first minutes.\u00a0But it finally came like a deep journey through my musical universe melting different atmospheres.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"font-weight: 800;\">You&#8217;ve produced several tracks, each of em&#8217; as good as the other. Since when you&#8217;re in beat-making?<\/h5>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px !important;\">Thank You! Production is quite &#8220;recent&#8221; to me actually, I\u00a0was mainly into dj&#8217;ing before.\u00a0I really decided to start creating my own beats back in 2010 especially right after I\u00a0discovered Flying Lotus&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cosmogramma\">Cosmogramma<\/a> LP.\u00a0That record totally blew my mind, it sounded so new and different from other stuffs i was listening.\u00a0I was impressed how Jazz, electronic and hip hop were matching so perfectly to give birth to those unique beats from another dimension. That whole Los Angeles beat scene is amazing i have to say.\u00a0Of course I\u00a0can&#8217;t forget cats like <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/J_Dilla\">J Dilla<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Madlib\">Madlib<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Stoupe_the_Enemy_of_Mankind\">Stoupe<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mr._Oizo\">Mr.Oizo<\/a> who both gave me huge desire to play with samples too.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"font-weight: 800;\">Which music equipment\/gear do you use?<\/h5>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px !important;\">Well it&#8217;s quite basic, the beats that you heard were made with Ableton Live 9 and an AKAI MPK Mini Keyboard.<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"font-weight: 800;\">You&#8217;ve recently put ideas of spirituality in your music, is there anything that you want the world to know?<\/h5>\n<p style=\"font-size: 16px !important;\">Love you each others right fuckin now! Haha.
